What does a world Anchor do in Tekkit?
The World Anchor is a special block added by RailCraft that keeps chunks loaded when a player is not in-game or otherwise in that chunk or dimension.
What does a Worldspike do?
Standard Worldspike Will force load chunks when you load the world. Apply a Redstone signal to turn off the World Anchor so it doesn’t consume any fuel. You can combine the Standard Worldspike with a Minecart to get Worldspike Cart, which can run on rails and keep a 5×5 area chunk loaded.
What is chunk loader?
A chunk loader is a redstone contraption that is meant to keep a chunk loaded even if the player isn’t close to it. When a player moves away from their automatic farms, those farms stop yielding items after a while.

What is a dimensional anchor?
The Dimensional Anchor is a block that loads chunks. There is a limit on the number of chunks each non-operator player can load in a SMP world, and each anchor can load chunks in an adjustable area of 1×1, 3×3, 5×5, 7×7 or 9×9. The Dimensional Anchor can load more chunks than the World Anchor.
What are lazy chunks?
Lazy chunks and Entity processing chunks. If a single chunk is loaded in a world, it will not process any entities and will only handle block updates and things like terrain population. This is referred to as a lazy chunk.
Do chunk loaders cause lag?
If you load a dozen chunks or so ( /forceload ‘ing 2 chunks will load 12…) it’s not such a huge problem. Obviously what impact it has heavily depends on what happens in these chunks. Minecarts with hoppers create a lot of lag (even when immobile, e.g. stuck into the ground of your farms over standard hoppers).
