- Radiant Raiment occasionally sells an Amulet of Talos.
- The pilgrim Karita near the end of the 7,000 steps to High Hrothgar is carrying one.
- Can often be pickpocketed from Borri, although the base chance is below 25%.
- Can be Pickpocketed from various Hold Guards and Stormcloaks.
How do you get into Raerek’s room?
Sneak in the room, you need to pick the lock, so make sure you have some lockpicks with you. In the dresser against the wall, directly in sight from the doorway, you will find an inscribed amulet of Talos. Show the amulet to Raerek and he will tell you to follow him, leading you to his quarters.

How do I lower my shout cooldown?
An Amulet of Talos will reduce the time between shouts by 20%. I believe this stacks with the +20% to shout recovery from shrines to Talos, which will knock a whopping 40% off your recovery time. Sadly, you cannot disenchant the amulet and learn to make your own +Shout Recovery items.
Does the blessing of Talos do anything?
The blessing reduces time between shouts by 20%. The value is stored as a decimal (0.2) but rather than converting it to a percent for display purposes, it just reads the decimal value and truncates everything after the decimal place, resulting in the game showing 0%.
How do I get rid of an amulet of Talos?
PC (Fix) After talking to Svari to start the quest, type player. drop 000CC846 # (with # being the amount of Amulets of Talos currently present in the inventory) to drop Roggvir’s amulet (this must be done before talking to Greta). Afterwards, talk to Greta who will redirect the player to the dropped amulet.
